The journey continues south. On November 20, MOGA arrives in Dakar for its first-ever edition in Senegal, opening a new chapter in the festival’s story and bringing the MOGA experience to a city with a rich and constantly evolving music culture.

From Essaouira to Dakar

The Atlantic has always been part of MOGA’s identity. It connects the places where the festival has grown, the communities it brings together and the different musical influences that shape each edition.

After establishing roots in Morocco and expanding to Portugal, Dakar felt like a natural next step. Senegal has a strong creative identity, a vibrant cultural scene and a musical heritage that continues to influence sounds far beyond its borders.

MOGA Dakar is an opportunity to connect with this local energy, meet new audiences and create a space where international and Senegalese artists share the same programme.

A first edition at Maison CCS

For its Dakar debut, MOGA takes over Maison CCS, in the Almadies district, on November 20.

The programme brings together five DJs: Daox, Adassiya, Mr. ID, Zia and DJ Leuz Zarak, with a selection spanning house and electronic music, from deep and organic sounds to more driving club rhythms.

Together, they set the tone for MOGA’s first gathering in Senegal.
